Volkswagen's new 2019 Arteon fastback sedan is expected to land in Concord, NC in late winter or early spring of 2019.

This four-door premium sedan is the most luxurious new offering in the Volkswagen lineup, combining the classic good looks of a VW with the soft-touch interior of a true luxury sports car. The new model offers features that you wouldn't expect to find in a car in this price range: massaging seats that are heated and ventilated, premium audio, tri-zone automatic climate control, leather-and-faux-suede upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and more.

And the 2019 Arteon is as powerful as is it feature-filled: every trim level comes standard with a 268-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. 4MOTION all-wheel drive is an option on all Arteon SE, SEL, and SEL Premium.

  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Blind Spot Monitor
  • Light Assist
  • Lane Assist
  • Rear Traffic Alert
  • Front Assist
  • Park Assist

Volkswagen Delays Launch of the 2019 Arteon

Due to strict worldwide emissions testing and rules, Volkswagen has had to extend its timeline of the US launch of the 2019 VW Arteon. The model was introduced in Europe in 2017, but, sadly, North Carolina drivers will have to wait a little bit longer.

The certification process is delayed because of a transition to new Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) guidelines, which has slowed the process of certification.

The new release date aims for the VW Arteon to land in the US in early 2019. Contact Hendrick Volkswagen of Concord to learn more.
